Research Medical Center in Kansas City is seeking an experienced RN for the CV Lab to prep and recover patients undergoing cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. You will administer medications, document procedures, and monitor sedation during transesophageal echo and cardiac tests.

You will collaborate with physicians and families, support equipment maintenance, and participate in CQI activities to enhance patient outcomes and the future of cardiovascular nursing.

Qualificações

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license required; diploma/associate/bachelor degree accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to adults in CV lab post/preparation for procedures.
• Administer medications and document procedures for CV prep/recovery.
• Administer conscious sedation for TEE and monitor cardiac stress tests and related procedures.
• Communicate with physicians and families about patient condition and updates.
• Assist with equipment/inventory maintenance and participate in CQI activities.
