Job summary

Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Services CV Prep and Recovery unit. You will provide direct care for adults undergoing cardiovascular procedures and recovery, administer medications, monitor patients, and document care in the CV Lab.

The role requires strong collaboration with physicians and families, adherence to CQI activities, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
• RN license
• RN Diploma/AA/BSN degree

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult CV patients in the CV Prep and Recovery unit; administer medications and document care.
• Coordinate with physicians and families about patient condition; monitor patients during CV procedures and recovery; assist with equipment and CQI activities.
