Research Medical Center in the United States seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Services CV Prep and Recovery unit. The role includes prepping patients, administering medications, and performing procedural documentation under supervision.

The RN must handle conscious sedation for transesophageal echo procedures, monitor patients during cardiac tests, and communicate with physicians and families about patient condition.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• RN Diploma/Associate/Bachelor degree

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care to adults in CV Lab, prep and recover
• Administer medications and document procedures
• Administer conscious sedation for TEE procedures
• Monitor patients during cardiac stress tests, tilt table tests and cardioversions
• Communicate with physicians and patient families as needed
• Assist with equipment maintenance and CQI activities
