Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience in cardiac monitoring.
• Certificate of arrhythmia course and rhythm interpretation certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously observe and interpret cardiac monitors for assigned telemetry patients.
• Identify and interpret arrhythmias and notify nursing staff of significant changes.
• Document rhythm interpretations and file rhythm strips every four hours.
• Respond promptly to monitor alarms and coordinate hand-offs with staff.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients in the central monitoring system with accurate logging.
• Maintain monitoring equipment and report malfunctions.
• Complete annual training and maintain certifications.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and participate in CQI and patient safety activities.
