Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Monitor Technician to observe cardiac rhythm strips, report changes to the Unit RN, and deliver rhythm strips to units. The role also involves monitoring other devices for seizures and fall risks, and documenting patient arrivals and departures per unit policy.

The position is covered by a SEIU CBA and will be posted internally for STC SEIU Bargaining Unit members from 08/20/26 to 08/27/26.

Qualifications

• Completion of basic EKG course or at least 80% with 100% lethal dysrhythmia identification on EKG interpretation exam.
• HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe cardiac rhythm strips and report changes to the Unit RN.
• Deliver rhythm strips to the respective unit.
• Monitor other devices for seizures and patients at risk for falls as assigned.
• Document patient arrivals and departures per unit policy.
