Qualifications

• Basic EKG course completed or 80% score with lethal dysrhythmia identif. on exam.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year as a monitor technician.

Responsibilities

• Observe cardiac rhythm strips and report changes to RN.
• Deliver rhythm strips and document patient arrivals/departures.
• Monitor seizure patients and fall-risk patients; follow unit policy.
• Observe and identify safety risks; communicate with RN/ANM promptly.
