Bon Secours Cardiology at St. Francis is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate cardiac devices. You will perform follow-up testing, remote monitoring, and support the Electrophysiology team with patient education and triage. Travel to other sites is required to ensure comprehensive device management.

The role emphasizes specialized nursing care for patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop devices, with programming and device evaluation across manufacturers as technology evolves.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
• 2 years of Cardiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up testing of cardiac rhythm management devices and remote monitoring.
• Support Electrophysiology team with phone triage and patient education.
• Travel to other sites as required.
• Provide professional nursing care for patients with implantable cardiac devices.
• Triage calls and complete programming orders according to protocols.
• Interrogate, evaluate, and reprogram all device models; document evaluations in EMR/CareLink.
• Promote quality patient care and maintain device knowledge as technology evolves.
• Adhere to billing guidelines and foster positive inter-office relations.
• Maintain knowledge of pacing, defibrillation, and electrophysiology therapies.
