Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Francis Downtown to provide exceptional nursing care in a high-acuity setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, assess patient status, and develop care plans to improve outcomes while maintaining safety. On-call coverage includes weekends, nights, and holidays, with rapid response requirements for STEMI activations.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• One year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER or OR (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct and analyzes initial and ongoing patient assessment; create care plans; implement treatment; evaluate effectiveness.
• Synthesize information and prioritise actions using clinical judgement and clinical inquiry.
• Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Participate in on-call system for weekends, nights and holidays; respond to STEMI call backs within 30 minutes.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
