Job summary

Heart and Vascular Partners in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Cardiac Device RN to collaborate with clinicians in managing patients with various cardiac conditions, including ambulatory monitors and CIEDs.

You will perform exams, manage device interrogations and remote monitoring, educate patients and families, and document care in the EMR while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

This role requires bedside nursing skills, strong communication, and the ability to travel to local offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN clinical practice experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel to local offices.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac rhythms; willingness to learn device management.
• Preferred: 3+ years in clinical practice; experience with pacemakers/ICDs/loop recorders; EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record patient health histories, including cardiac and device history.
• Perform physical exams and tests such as EKGs; apply/download Holter monitors.
• Assist with cardiac device management, including interrogation, programming support, and remote monitoring.
• Review device transmissions and escalate abnormal findings to providers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, device care, and remote monitoring protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records in EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
