Job summary

Abbott is seeking a CRM Associate Clinical Specialist for a field-based role based in Morristown, NJ within the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. You will provide engineering, sales, educational, and clinical support to physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field staff.

The position requires a bio-medical engineering degree and up to 2 years of related experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, vendors, and customers in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related field or equivalent healthcare experience.
• 0-2 years of related experience or a program certification from an accredited cardiac training program; certification in CRM products desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
• Apply engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently; capable of managing multiple assignments.
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office for creating presentations and documents.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Interface: acts as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Relationship Building: build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product knowledge accordingly.
• Comprehensive Support: provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for CRM products.
• Training and Education: develop, lead, or facilitate CRM training sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Sales Support: provide back-up support to CRM Sales Representatives.
