Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an experienced Exercise Physiologist to support cardiopulmonary exercise testing in robust cardiac rehabilitation and research programs at the Massachusetts General Hospital and affiliated sites.

The role involves coordinating CPETs, assisting with MRI-related handgrip testing, managing data, and collaborating with physicians, technicians, and staff across visits. A Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology is required, with a Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology is required; master's preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certifications preferred.
• 2–3 years' experience in acute care hospital or cardiac rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CPETs including pre-test briefing, performance of exercise testing, processing, and data reporting.
• Coordinate CPET handgrip testing during cardiac MRI sessions.
• Manage a large CPET database and prepare data for biostatistical analysis.
• Collaborate with study staff and participants across visits.
• Willingness to commute to MGH Main Campus and Charlestown Navy Yard for study visits.
