Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston seeks a dedicated exercise physiologist to support cardiopulmonary testing and participation in a NIH-funded study at the Massachusetts General Hospital Main Campus. You will work with physicians, technicians, and staff to conduct CPETs, manage data, and contribute to study recruitment and screening, with opportunities to advance in a multidisciplinary research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology; Master’s in Exercise Physiology preferred
• ACLS/BLS certifications preferred
• 2–3 years experience in acute care hospital/cardiac rehab preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct CPETs and pre-test communication, performance of exercise testing, test processing and data reporting
• Conduct handgrip exercise during cardiac MRI, record vitals and report results
• Manage a large CPET database and prepare data for biostatistician
• Work closely with study participants and staff on all study aspects
• Willingness to commute to MGH Main Campus and Charlestown Navy Yard for study visits
• Recruit and screen participants for study visits
