Job summary

Spaulding ExPD Program at Mass General Brigham is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to lead cardiac rehabilitation activities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to design, evaluate, and support exercise programs for patients undergoing rehab, performing stress tests and coordinating care with staff, patients, and families.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in exercise physiology or kinesiology (master's preferred) and experience in acute care or rehab settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology required; master's preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stress tests using EKG equipment and interpret results.
• Assess patients and provide nutrition and exercise guidance.
• Document findings clearly in the patient chart for providers.
• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary cardiac rehab team.
• Explain testing procedures and activity plans to patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the RN.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
