Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a professional to implement cardiovascular risk modification programs through exercise training and education for patients with known cardiac disease. The role involves inpatient and outpatient rehab coverage across the Twin Cities metro area.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, with a preferred Master's degree and 1 year of cardiac rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Exercise physiology, nursing, or occupational therapy) required.
• Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
• Certification/licensure in ACLS/BLS or in-house ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical condition of patients and evaluates graded exercise plans.
• Educates patients on available services and home exercise programs.
• Designs individualized exercise plans and monitors progress.
• Collaborates with physicians and health professionals on patient care and program development.
• Provides coverage for inpatient and outpatient cardiac rehab programs across multiple sites.

Education
