Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Edison, NJ. The nurse will deliver high-quality direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, while expanding knowledge and maintaining patient focus.

The role includes delegating and coordinating care across nursing peers, physicians, and support services to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The position requires an RN credential with an associate degree or diploma, and BSN in progress or planned within a few years.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, stay accountable, and work in a collaborative team.

Responsabilités

• Functions as caregiver for a specific patient population within a interdisciplinary team.
• Directs and oversees care through delegation, validation, evaluation and coordination.
• Coordinates patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
