Job summary

Research Medical Center in Kansas City area is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Rehab. The RN will provide high-quality, safe care to inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients in collaboration with exercise physiologists, physicians, and allied health professionals.

The role requires a BSN (or equivalent), current RN license, BLS, and cardiovascular knowledge. ICU/CCU experience is preferred. This position is based on-site with opportunities across our cardiac rehabilitation program.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed and BSN or equivalent.
• Dysrhythmia recognition and cardiovascular knowledge preferred.
• ACSM Certification or Cardiac Rehab certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments following standards of care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise licensed staff within RN scope.
• Educate patients and families and provide emotional support.

BLS certification

Active RN license (state/cmdL)
