Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehab to deliver safe, compassionate care to inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients. You will work with Exercise Physiologists, physicians, and allied health staff to support recovery and wellness within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes comprehensive nursing assessments, care plan execution, and patient education, with strong emphasis on family involvement and culturally sensitive care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Dysrhythmia recognition and cardiovascular knowledge.
• BLS certification required and active RN license.
• At least 1 year experience in ICU/CCU or critical care; Cardiac Rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments following standards of care and disease-specific protocols.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize resources.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice.
• Deliver education and emotional support, including patient and family teaching across ages and cultures.
