Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: conduct initial evaluations and ongoing physical assessments.
• Cardiac Monitoring: interpret ECG to monitor heart rhythms and detect issues.
• Patient Education: develop recovery plans and educate patients/families on heart-healthy habits.
• Emergency Response: initiate ACLS and emergency protocols if adverse events occur.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: work with a wider medical team including exercise physiologists, dietitians, and cardiologists.
