Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington state is seeking an Exercise Specialist to implement and supervise the exercise program within Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and related programs.

The role operates full-time with day shifts and focuses on patient-centered, evidence-based care. Qualified applicants will have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, current BLS, and ACLS upon hire; preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and prior rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Exercise Science or equivalent educ/experience.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or equivalent educ/experience.
• Upon hire: ACLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months cardiac rehabilitation in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other medical field.

Responsibilities

• Implement and supervise the exercise program in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
• Support other programs with exercise components.
