SolutionHealth is seeking a Cardiac Rehabilitation Educator to develop and implement education and exercise prescriptions for adult populations within the Elliot Health System Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. You will lead group classes, conduct individual counseling, and tailor plans based on risk factors and medical history.

Requirements include a BS in Exercise Science, BLS, and prior cardiac rehab experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, physical therapy, or physical education.
Required BLS certification, or ability to obtain immediately upon hire through Elliot Health System.
Prior experience in clinical cardiac rehabilitation or equivalent.
Comfort with group education and one-on-one counseling.

Responsabilités

Provides education on cardiac and vascular disease, risk factor management and healthy lifestyle modifications through group classes and individual counseling.
Conducts intake sessions with new patients for outpatient cardiac rehabilitation and explains benefits.
Assesses risk factors using interview, labs and medical history to guide program design.
Implements an exercise program for cardiac/vascular populations, with modifications as needed.
Completes timely documentation of assessments, interventions and evaluations.
