Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join the Cardiac Wellness/Rehab team. You will coordinate daily program operations, develop exercise prescriptions for adults, and monitor patient progress in a mission-driven setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, BLS certification, and cancer/rehab knowledge; a Master’s degree and ACSM/ACKS certification are preferred. Per Diem, day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology required.
• Master's degree preferred; cardiac rehab specialization preferred.
• 2+ years hospital cardiac rehab/wellness program experience preferred.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• ACSM/ACKS certification preferred; ECG knowledge useful.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment for cardiac rehab program.
• Develop individualized exercise prescriptions for adults.
• Monitor patients' exercise programs and progress.
• Educate patients on cardiac rehab principles and prevention.
• Support research/grant projects related to exercise science.
