Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks an Exercise Physiologist (MS) to supervise and implement cardiovascular rehabilitation for patients with cardiopulmonary disease. You will assess, develop treatment plans, and educate to promote risk factor modification and better health outcomes.

The role requires a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, ACSM CEP/RCEP or AACVPR certification preferred, and AHA BLS. Day or shift work with varying hours in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician prescribed exercise and ensure adherence to the treatment plan.
• Tailor personalized risk factor modification and lifestyle education for cardiovascular health.
• Provide psychosocial assessment of patient wellbeing.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Establish and review treatment plans every 30 days with physician.
• Conduct new patient evaluations including medical history and functional status.
• Provide patient education related to cardiovascular disease risk factor modification.
• Monitor ECG and rhythm recognition.
