Job summary
Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (DH-YRMC) in Prescott, AZ, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks an Exercise Physiologist to deliver cardiac and pulmonary rehab, create personalized exercise prescriptions, and educate patients and families. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or Health & Human Performance or related field.
- Experience with computer-oriented monitoring and charting for Cardiac Rehab.
- ACLS within 6 months.
- CPR (BLS) certification.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in initial participant assessment and contribute to plan of care development.
- Supervise exercise sessions and monitor participants’ responses to exercise.
- Perform blood pressure checks pre, during, and post-exercise and monitor telemetry.
- Assess participants and make referrals to staff/Medical Director as needed.
- Report significant participant conditions to supervising physician.
- Assist in providing emergency care using ACLS protocol.
