Job summary

MarinHealth is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to provide coverage in the Testing Center, performing CPET and stress tests under the direction of the Supervising Cardiologist.

You will educate patients on fitness performance and cardiovascular risk factors, monitor heart rhythms, and ensure safe use of equipment during tests and classes.

A BS in exercise science is required; a MS is preferred. BLS and ACLS are required; 1–3 years of cardio rehab experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• BS in exercise science or related field.
• MS in exercise science preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certifications required.
• 1–3 years cardio rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess fitness levels and determine appropriate exercise modalities.
• Perform CPET and stress tests as ordered by cardiologists.
• Educate patients on cardiovascular risk factors and fitness.
• Monitor heart rhythms during tests and report arrhythmias.
• Lead Phase II/III cardiac rehab classes when requested.
• Ensure equipment safety and maintenance.
