Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join its cardiovascular rehab team. You will develop and adjust exercise prescriptions, monitor patients through telemetry, and work within a multidisciplinary team to improve cardiac health outcomes.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science or Physiology, and relevant certifications (BLS/ACLS); a Master’s is strongly preferred and RCEP/CEP with CCRP is desirable. Per diem, day shift, on-site employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Physiology; Master’s degree strongly desired.
• ACLS and BLS certifications strongly desired; obtain within 6–12 months depending on hire date.
• Certification as RCEP or CEP preferred; CCRP also valued.

Responsibilities

• Contributes as part of a multidisciplinary team to cardiac rehab program.
• Communicates findings and program improvements with rehab team.
• Develops and adjusts exercise prescriptions based on graded testing and physician guidance.
• Monitors participants during sessions; records vitals and telemetry responses.
• Documents assessments and reports to physicians and staff; participates in emergencies.
