Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) to lead outpatient cardiac rehabilitation. You will develop tailored exercise prescriptions and supervised programs, evaluating progress and adjusting plans as patients improve.

Strong assessment and communication skills are essential for a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology, 1 year of experience, ACSM certification (or active pursuit), and BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience required.
• ACSM certification required (current or in progress).
• Active BLS certification required.
• ACLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized exercise prescriptions to increase fitness, strength, endurance, and flexibility.
• Design customized programs to meet health care needs and athletic goals.
• Perform fitness evaluations, needs analysis, and progress notes for all clients.
• Provide corrective coaching on posture and offer countermeasures during sessions and group trainings.
