Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to lead cardiac and pulmonary rehab patient care from initial assessment through discharge planning. You will develop individualized treatment plans, supervise exercise sessions, monitor EKG, and document charges and communications with the treating physician.

Candidates must hold one of the required certifications (RCEP ACSM, Certified Exercise Specialist, or CCRP) within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least one of the listed certifications within 1 year of employment.
• Clinical exercise physiology skills and patient assessment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• New patient assessment and ongoing patient assessment.
• Development of Individual Treatment Plan (goal setting, education, exercise prescription/progression, discharge planning).
• Exercise supervision and EKG monitoring/interpretation.
• Complete documentation/charges and communicate with physician as needed.
