Job summary

CHI Health CUMC-Bergan Mercy in Omaha, NE seeks a PRN Exercise Physiologist to deliver direct, evidence-based care in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and guide exercise programs.

Responsibilities include creating personalized exercise prescriptions, orienting patients to equipment, performing functional fitness tests, and documenting clinical data to support ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology or related field.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• PRN availability and ability to work in a hospital rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in cardiac/pulmonary rehab.
• Establish and update individualized exercise prescriptions with physicians and staff.
• Orientate patients to exercise equipment and safety issues.
• Perform functional fitness testing and body composition analysis.
• Document outcomes and maintain clinical data and program records.
