Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Baptist Clay. This PRN role offers flexible day shift hours and the opportunity to positively impact patients recovering from cardiac-related illnesses.

As a CEP, you will work across Phases I–III, perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, tailor exercise prescriptions, monitor during sessions, and coordinate documentation with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience
• 3-5 Years Clinical Cardiac Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients across Phases I–III
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide individualized treatment plans
• Design and implement exercise prescriptions and facilitate progression based on patient needs
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including EKG monitoring and interpretation
• Educate patients and families on risk factor management, heart-healthy lifestyles, and long-term wellness
• Complete all required documentation, billing, and coordinate communication with physicians
