Job summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking a Clinical Educator - Point of Care to lead orientation for new staff and advance ongoing team development. Collaborate with the clinical education team to deliver in-services, trainings, and competency assessments, while aligning practices with evidence-based standards.

You will facilitate educational programs, mentor staff, and drive initiatives to improve clinical quality outcomes and patient care metrics within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's Degree must be completed within three years of employment.
• 1-3 years acute care nursing experience required.
• 2 years acute care, ED or critical care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, presents, and coordinates educational programs and orientation.
• Provides continuing education and mentorship for unit staff.
• Identifies learning needs with unit manager and other personnel.
• Maintains current knowledge of evidence-based standards.
• Delivers in-services and documents education activities.
• Serves as clinical resource and educator.
