Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an experienced RN for the CV Prep and Recovery unit. You will provide direct adult patient care, prepare and recover patients for cardiovascular and radiology procedures, administer medications, and document procedures in the CV Lab.

Qualifications

ACLS within 1 year of employment start date.
BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
RN credential (Registered Nurse) and required diploma or degree.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adult CV patients in the CV Prep and Recovery unit.
Prepare and recover patients for cardiovascular and radiology procedures; administer medications and document procedures.
Administer conscious sedation during procedures and monitor patients during tests.
Communicate with physicians and patient families about patient condition.
Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory; participate in CQI activities.
