Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the CARL - Extenders team. The role focuses on preliminary patient assessment, assisting in the operating room, and ensuring sterile technique and patient safety under surgeon supervision.

The successful candidate will hold a Florida PA license, CPR certification, and participate in ongoing clinical education to maintain licensure and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Preliminary Assessment of patients. Obtain complete history and perform complete physical assessment on new patients.
• Clinical interface: Facilitate preoperative procedure. Assist with placement of invasive lines as needed. Assist attending surgeon as either a first or second assistant.
• Exhibit professional conduct in the provision of patient care. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Work cooperatively with coworkers, physician and supervisor.

Education

Associate degree with PA license

Bachelor's degree in field of expertise
