Job summary

AP Health in the greater Orlando, FL area is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our surgical team. The role functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room and supports cardiac surgery with patient positioning, draping, EVH, and daily ICU rounds.

Requirements: 2+ years as a surgical first assistant, independent call, NCCPA certification, and active BLS/ACLS. Benefits include health/dental/vision, disability and life insurance, 401K with company match, ESOP, and CME

Responsibilities

• Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room.

• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH).
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Daily inpatient rounds in ICU and stepdown units.
• Rotating weekend and night CVOR coverage.

What will you do:
