Job summary

AP Health in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its team. The role includes functioning as a Surgical First Assistant, conducting patient examinations, and providing ICU coverage. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years' experience in cardiac surgery, active BLS and ACLS certifications, and a passion for patient-centered care. What will you do:

• Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room


• Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon


• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)


• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations


• Daily inpatient rounds in ICU and stepdown units


• Rotating weekend and night CVOR coverage

What do you need:

• 2+ years experience functioning as a surgical first assist


• Experience taking independent call


• Board certified by NCCPA


• Active BLS and ACLS


• Comprehensive and flexible medical, dental, and vision insurance
