AP Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in the greater Palm Beach, Florida area. The role requires 2+ years of cardiac surgery experience as a surgical first assistant and independent on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
• Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon
• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Daily inpatient rounds in ICU and stepdown units
• Rotating weekend and night CVOR coverage

What will you do:

• Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
• Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Daily inpatient rounds in ICU and stepdown units

What do you need:

• 2+ years experience functioning as a surgical first assist
