Job summary

Virginia Heart is seeking a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to participate in a structured cross-training program for Cardiac PET/CT. The role supports a multi-site cardiac PET/CT program in Falls Church, Leesburg, and Alexandria, collaborating with physicians, APPs, nurses, and technologists to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates will bring CNMT or ARRT(N) and BLS certification, with cross-training to cardiac CT and PET/CT workflows.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) required.
• BLS certification is required.
• CT Certification or willingness to obtain CT Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality cardiac PET/CT imaging after training and credentialing.
• Rotate between Cardiac PET locations to maintain competency.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses and technologists to ensure patient care.
• Maintain radiation-safety practices and accurate imaging records.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
