Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Staff Perfusionist to join a 7-person team in a modern perfusion department. You will support complex cardiac surgeries, implement ECMO, and ensure safe cardiopulmonary bypass.

This is a 40-hour day shift with call, ongoing education, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and ECMO teams. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and graduation from an accredited perfusion program; ABP certification or eligibility and MA licensure eligibility

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited perfusion program.
• Licensed or licensure eligible in MA; ABP certification eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Active coverage for all cardiac surgical and cell-saving procedures.
• Work during call and after-hours as needed.
• Complete the pre-bypass checklist to ensure resources are ready.
• Review patient charts to anticipate perioperative issues.
• Initiate/terminate extracorporeal circulation as directed by surgeon.
• Provide intraoperative perfusion support and artifact-free ECMO involvement.
