Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO, seeks a Perfusionist to support cardiac surgery by setting up and operating extracorporeal devices. You will monitor patients and report physiologic data to the team.

Required MO perfusion licensure with board certification within a year; 3–5 years of perfusion experience preferred. This role includes supervising technologists and trainees and contributing to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Perfusion Education Program.
• MO Licensed Clinical Perfusionist.
• Experience: 3–5 years perfusion experience preferred.
• Certification by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extracorporeal and related devices in cardiac surgery.
• Conduct tests on pulmonary or cardiovascular systems for diagnostics.
• Monitor and record patients' physiologic functions and report findings.
• Supervise and train cardiology technologists and students.
