Job summary

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with pre- and post-operative responsibilities. You will collaborate with medical providers to support an exceptional patient experience and advocate for the needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities include patient assessment at admission and each shift, procedures as ordered, accurate documentation, medication administration, and maintaining knowledge

Qualifications

• RN license required within 60 days of start date
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
• NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months of start date
• Associate degree in nursing

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care and equipment
