Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the Cardiac PCU. You will provide care using the nursing process and educate patients and families to their disease and care plan.

Required ASN or BA/BS, 1–2 years cardiac/telemetry experience, BLS, RN license; ACLS/PALS certifications as noted. Includes a $3,750 sign-on bonus for new hires.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 6 months for ED coverage.
• PALS certification required within 1 year for certain EDs.
• 1–2 years cardiac/telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical or surgical conditions using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and care plans.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate care with physicians and ancillary staff.
• Participate in unit meetings and other departmental activities.
• Ensure alignment with hospital mission and quality standards.
