Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Fulltime Night shift in the Cardiac PCU. The role provides care to patients with cardiac and telemetry needs, following the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

New hires are eligible for a $3,750 sign-on bonus. Qualifications include ASN/BSN, active RN license, BLS; ACLS within 6 months and PALS within 1 year; 1-2 years cardiac/telemetry experience preferred.

Qualifications

ASN/BSN required or preferred
Active Registered Nurse license required (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
ACLS within 6 months for Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs
PALS within 1 year for Free Standing EDs and within 6 months for WCH ED
1-2 years Cardiac experience preferred
1-2 years Telemetry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care
Interact with physicians and other hospital departments
Coordinate care with ancillary services
Act as patient advocate
Participate in unit meetings and activities
