Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Jefferson Hospital seeks an experienced nursing leader to manage the daily operations of the 28-bed West Cardiac Progressive Care unit, ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

You will drive patient-centered care, quality and safety initiatives, staffing optimization, budget adherence, and professional development in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire or transfer.
• 1 year of demonstrated clinical leadership experience.
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through eNLC.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and coordinate daily operations of the unit under the Nurse Manager.
• Lead professional development, performance appraisals, and staff engagement.
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory readiness.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and resource utilization with fiscal responsibility.
• Foster multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient experience and outcomes.
