Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5 West Cardiac Progressive Care unit. The RN will provide leadership in a fast-paced setting, coordinate care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, and ensure family-centered communication.

This role requires PA RN licensure (or eNLC) and a commitment to ongoing professional development. AHN offers a strong benefits package and Magnet-recognized facilities.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Certification in area of specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Mentors and mentors other staff as needed.
• Delegates tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
• Ensures a safe patient environment and manages interventions with appropriate documentation.
• Delivers care using the nursing process to plan and evaluate patient outcomes.
