Job summary

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, strengthen cardiac nursing expertise, and help patients transition from critical care to recovery in a leading academic medical environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of Maryland or eligibility via Compact state agreements.
• BSN is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years.
• Membership in a professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent care to unit-specific patient population and serve as a clinical resource for others.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical practice standards.
• Participate in unit governance, performance improvement, and quality initiatives.
• Support charge nurse decisions and leadership activities on assigned shifts.
