Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System is seeking a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Clinical Coordinator RN Nights to lead and coordinate care on the PCCU. The role requires NJ RN licensure, a BSN preferred, and 3 years in the specialty with BLS/ACLS/ECG as oriented credentials.

You will supervise staff, promote quality patient care, and collaborate with hospital departments to ensure high standards across adult and geriatric populations. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the specialty preferred.
• BLS certification required, ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation, ECG course completed during clinical orientation, and Critical Care course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination of resources and activities.
• Interact with all Hospital Departments to coordinate and maintain optimum patient care across ages (Adults, Geriatrics).
• Promote customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice per NJ Board of Nursing and ANA guidelines.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with age-appropriate considerations.
• Report significant changes in unit conditions or personnel issues.
• Orient new staff and float/agency staff on the unit.
• Assist Nurse Manager in staff development and growth mechanisms.
• Maintain knowledge of Nursing Quality Improvement activities on shift.
