Qualifikationen

• CNA Certification or enrollment in nursing program with basic clinical rotations completed.
• CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS).
• Minimum 90% on annual Health and Safety Training quizzes.
• Unit-based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.
• One year of college or nursing education or equivalent experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct Patient Care Activities: assist with admission, transfer, discharge; vitals; intake/output; phlebotomy; newborn care; patient mobility; call response; daily hygiene and nourishment provision; bed and room setup.
• Indirect Patient Care: maintain a safe, clean environment; assist RN; inventory and document patient belongings; stock supplies; participate in meetings; support quality improvement.
