Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room Technician experience in a hospital setting required.
• Cardiac surgery experience required and must be clearly listed on the resume.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and OR procedures required.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical environments required.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to support surgical procedures and patient movement required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields for various surgical procedures.
• Perform scrub duties including gowning, gloving, and instrument setup.
• Anticipate surgeon and surgical team needs during procedures.
• Maintain accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control.
