Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to provide clinical education and evaluation to nursing staff in high-acuity areas, including cardiac, surgical, and medical care.

You will lead orientation and ongoing education programs, conduct skills labs and bedside training, and collaborate with medical staff and management to integrate best practices into patient care. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with Idaho licensure.
• Effective teaching and training of clinical staff.
• Ability to plan orientation and ongoing education programs.
• Collaborates with physicians and management to improve care.

Responsibilities

• Meet requirements and uphold the staff RN job description.
• Provide bedside education and skills labs for staff.
• Plan and conduct orientation and continued education for cardiac care.
• Assess educational needs and develop plans for all clinical staff.
• Coordinate annual competencies and yearly program calendar.
• Assist department managers with staff education needs.
• Participate on committees and support quality improvement projects.
• Maintain licensure records and assist with relicensing.
• Support professional development and team competency progression.
• Collaborate with educators to advance team competency.
