Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Cardiology department to prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform cardiac nuclear studies, and assist physicians with procedures. You will ensure accurate data entry, timely reporting, and adherence to NRC and internal policies.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, BLS, ARRT/CMNT, and 0–4 years of experience. The role requires English communication, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work with imaging

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT or CMNT certification required.
• 0–1 years experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and injects radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging per NRC and dept. policies.
• Performs cardiac nuclear studies and assists physicians as needed.
• Reports results to physicians within required time frames.
• Programs computers for each procedure and logs test information.
• Maintains QA procedures and ensures compliance with radiation standards.
