Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. You will collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, ARRT/NMTCB certification or eligibility, and BLS certification, with certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB or eligible for certification; certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Associate's Degree or higher and certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Job description

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Associate's Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
